Fishing Reports Date: 09/17/09
Rogue River - Upper Rogue
Conditions: Water is a little high, dropping 100cfs daily Flies:  Tung. Trout Retriever, Morrish WMD October, Morrish Deep October, Tung, El Diablo, Hogan's Isonichia, Morrish Dirty Bird, Starlite Leech, Anvil Egg, Hot Egg
Tips: Spring Chinook are spawning full bore. Fish back edges of the redds, bigger fish are still in the deeper water. October caddis are hatching in big numbers.
 
Rogue River - Middle Rogue
Conditions: Water is a little high, and dirty from Gold Ray demolition Flies: Tung. Trout Retriever, Morrish WMD October, Morrish Deep October, Tung, El Diablo, Hogan's Isonichia, Morrish Dirty Bird, Starlite Leech, Anvil Egg, Hot Egg
Tips: Fish big and deep. The fishing will pick up in the next week as the water drops and clears
 
Diamond Lake
Conditions: Still fishing well, with some bigger fish being taken again. Flies: Wilcox's Rapunzel, Mini Leechs, Borden's Sparkle Leeces, Fat Ass Dragon Fly, Dirty Bird, Lightning Bug, Tungsten Zebra Midge (red or Brown)
Tips: work the South end of the lake around Silent Creek. Strip Leeches, buggers, damsels, or indicator Chironomids
 
Wood River
Conditions: Fishing well, low and clear Flies: Wilcox's Rapunzel, Mini Leechs, Borden's Sparkle Leeces, Fat Ass Dragon Fly, Dirty Bird, Lightning Bug
Tips: Fish high up the river for the browns, or the lower end at the opener for the bows.
 
Williamson River
Conditions: Fishing GREAT, low and clear. Almost no pressure. Flies: Wilcox's Rapunzel, Mini Leechs, Borden's Sparkle Leeces, Dirty Bird, Lightning Bug, Tung. Zebra Midge
Tips: Fish Leeches and streamers, or hang a midge under an indicator. on light leaders. 5X is best.
